I knew some of you may thought that I shouldn't go at the first place. Already in the 3rd semester of pregnancy, with previous history of premature labour, even my gynae didint allow me to go but I went against her. Heheh... I asked for another opinion from different doctor and she said I may go but with some risks. To give labor, it could be anywhere, it just a matter of the logistic and how emergency it is. She said, I would feel guilty if I asked you for not to go and yet, you wont give birth here during the travel dates and I will surely be unhappy too if I let you and you ended give birth there. So, it is better to discuss with your husband. The discussion was held a day before we went to Bandung. She gave me the referral letter stated that I am in my 33 weeks and fit to fly., plus with Ventolin. The ventolin was prescribed to help my womb to relax. On the morning of our departure, our flight scheduled at 10pm actually, I had a monthly check-up with my gynae. She said the head has engaged but not fully yet. The rest were ok. After discussed it with my husband, he said, I want you to go. Dont worry, everything will be fine.
At that time, my parents has arrived at our home since we've bought the tickets for them also. My father was a bit excited about the trip, it made me feels reluctant if we are not going. Since we just decided that I will go, so arrived home, I started to pack our things. Luckily, I have prepared the kids bag few days before. Since the time were limited that day, we are going to LCCT around 6pm, so I didnt have chance to relax or took some nap. After settled everything at check-in counter, went for solat, bought some foods, then we heard that the flight was delayed. Mm.. at that time, already 10 pm. Normally, if at home, I've already in bed or at least laid down. So, I felt some stress and the baby kept moving a lot which was a sign that he wanted me to have a rest. He normally did that so I already knew when I felt that gestures, I need to rest. So, I asked my husband to go to the musolla at the waiting area and gonna have some rest. I laid for about 15 minutes then I heard the announcement that the flight has arrived. So off we go then.
The AA staff detected that I am pregnant. She asked how many weeks and did I bring a doctor's referral letter. I said yes and gave it to her. She asked me few questions and a form to sign. That's it. During the entire flight, I had no problem, it just that I need to lay down. I cant wait to arrive at the hotel and lying down. Seriously. I had a backache, the baby kept moving and Khadijah is not well also. Finally, Alhamdulillah we settled down at the hotel about 2 am and went to sleep.
The journey back was well too. It surely was a big relieved when we saw the LCCT airport. Hehe.. Then, everyone said, now you can give labour at anytime. I knew it was a risk traveling at 33 weeks, but I'm very sure that I was in the good health and condition at that time. This entry was not meant to be any form of guidance or reference to others since our condition might not be the same. You should refer to your gynae as well and please decide for the best. If I were happen to give birth at Bandung, well we've prepared extra money actually, I also brought along a pair of his newborn attires, blankets and few more.. :) just in case right. Alhamdulillah. It was a very good trip. Even though I was not really in shopping mood, (you got to believe me because I didnt shop much for myself ok :) ) but I enjoyed. Despite of having difficulties at moving around, then I need to go to the toilets every 2 hours, I did prayed hard that I wont give a birth there, and counting days to our last day (we've been there for 5 nights and 4 days). So perhaps you might imagined what and how I felt during the whole trip.
